2nd AC/DIT for C'est Moi

I just finished 5 days on camera department for a Columbia student thesis, C’est Moi. We shot on RED, with some handheld. The footage looks gorgeous, and it was a great crew!

On the Shoulders of Giants, Edgeworx

On the Shoulders of Giants header

I was called in for a day of motion graphics for the animated basketball doc On the Shoulders of Giants. Easy stuff, but a really cool project produced by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, with original music by Chuck D. and Herbie Hancock.

UPDATE: Here are a few articles related to the Digital Kitchen job I composited on for Microsoft’s Scottsdale Store.
The store has a video installation wrapping around the entire interior. What you won’t see in the 12 minute island loop are the millions of birds flying between cameras. Since it was shot on 12 cameras to get a 360 degree view of Trunk Bay, St. John (coincidentally where my brother and cousin live!), and the cameras were using different lenses (production mistake to wait until the last minute to rent their camera package!), anything passing from one camera’s framing to the next had to be composited to either match up, or removed from the footage entirely.
I’m still looking for decent footage of the video wall installation, but in the mean time, here are some links to give you an idea:

At 1st Ave Machine

I’m at 1st Ave Machine tonight, and I may be back tomorrow. The project is incredible and I wish I could post it now, but I will update once it is online.

1st Ave Machine makes great work! They are really fun people, and they have cool stuff laying around from pitches. Their fabricators are amazing, too!

UPDATE: Take a look at the finished campaign here!

I’m working on a shoot for a feature film called Silver Tongues. I will be available for short jobs/overnights/weekends, so please contact me if you need an animator/compositor for a short stint.

I’m interning in G/E for Dan Choy Boyar, a gaffer who rents lighting/grip packages from his company, Directed Lighting (link).
